The Kestrel 1050, built in 1979 based on the plans of a Gruno 1050, impresses with its solid and spacious construction. With a length of 10.70 meters and a width of 3.50 meters, it offers enough space for friends and family, ideal for long stays on the water. The steel ship is powered by two Hanomag engines with 54 hp each and reaches a maximum speed of 10 knots.

The ship has a generous fuel tank of 800 liters of diesel and a fresh water tank with a capacity of 600 liters. The retrofitted solar system with an output of approx. 180 watts ensures a sustainable energy supply.

The Kestrel was designed for an extremely comfortable stay on board. It has diesel heating, an alarm system, a refrigerator, a stove and an oven. In addition to the generous galley, the ship has a spacious seating area that invites you to spend cozy evenings below deck. On sunny days, the boat has plenty of space on the upper deck for sunbathing or socializing outdoors. The ship is ideal for weekend trips or longer stays on the water and offers everything you need for a pleasant time on the water.

The Kestrel 1050 was completely painted in 2021. Above the waterline, the ship was painted in a tasteful shade of blue. The upper deck was painted in a matching beige tone. At the same time, the seals of all the windows were renewed.

At the same time, the underwater hull was completely rebuilt with primer and subsequent antifouling coating. In addition, the owners had various custom-made parts made of stainless steel, including the railing, the equipment carrier, the crossbar on the davits and much more.
